Sailing Weekend

I am not much into sailing...until last weekend. It has been ages since we went on a trip so a weekend sailing trip was more than welcome. We had great company and the weather was just perfect for a relaxing trip. The best part of the weekend was seeing dolphins! It was the first time in my life that I saw them!

Summer memories

Summer vacations came and gone as quickly as I feared. It has been a difficult summer and my escape was shorter than what I would have hoped for. This year we went to Skopelos island! An amazing place covered with pine trees and with some of the best beaches in Greece. I highly recommend it for those who wish to spend quiet and relaxing vacations.

Perivoli beach (amazing waters!)
The chapel of Ai Giannis (the final scenes of Mama Mia where shot here)

Sweetest fig ever picked by Dimitris :)
Blackberries! You could find them all over the island!

A few shots from my weekend in Kea island.
Dimitris is a member of a sailing team and last weekend they had a race from Voula to Kea and back!

Long time no post!

Another Easter has come and gone..... as always lots of church going...fasting....and then on easter Sunday lots of food and sleep...

On easter Monday me and Dimitris went for a day trip in Epidaurus and visited the ancient theater and the ruins of the asclepieion at Epidaurus which was the most celebrated healing center of the Classical world. It was my 3rd time there but i must admit each time i discover something different and exciting....I was in awe once more to walk in such sacred grounds.

We will surely visit Epidaurus in the summer for the greek festival http://www.greekfestival.gr/
